OPTIONS Attendance Video
OPTIONS Faculty must submit an attendance record for each student for each class session.
Activities:
1. If you have not printed the entire manual, print the attachment to add to your manual. Then follow the directions through the next practice. It can help you to learn how to submit attendance without impacting your students.
2. Following the posting directions, click this SIM training link and then the Faculty button. If prompted for a username and password (Username = instruct; Password=testing).
3. Make sure the Current Options Settings show: Program = Undergrad, Session = Summer, and Year = 2006. If not, make the appropriate changes.
4. The course information should show the following: Course Number = SIM100, Section = 01, Catalog = UG06. If not, make those changes, setting the catalog first.
5. Click the Display Meetings button, and follow the posting instructions to post attendance for one meeting for the SIM100/01 course.
Special Note:
In the practice, the course number was set to SIM100, the section to 01, and the catalog to UG06. However, when logged into Student Information Management as yourself, follow the directions in the manual to set the correct options for your own course information.
For OPTIONS courses, catalogs change to the next year for classes that start July 1 or after.
