The attached pdf file includes information on the following subjects:

• Access the Student Information Management Link
• Logon
• Welcome Screen
• Set Options
• Menu Navigation Bar

Activities:

1.       If you haven't printed the entire manual, print out the above attachment.

2.       Logon to Student Information Management.

3.       Review the Welcome page.

4.       At the bottom of the Welcome page, set the Options for the current program, semester, and year for which you are teaching/advising.

5.       Become familiar with the Menu navigation bar.

Special Notes:

• Most problems in using the system are encountered because the Options have not been properly set.
• There are two Biographical links. One is under Student Advising (covered in the Student Advising section) and the other is under the Faculty Information Tree.
  • The one under Student Advising is student related. The one under the Faculty Tree is your biographical information.
• If you haven't printed out the entire package, keep this section print out handy. You'll be adding to it as you go through the other sections.
