SIM Introduction Video

Welcome to the Student Information Management (SIM) training course designed to help you become more familiar with the web version of our administrative software. As a faculty member, you can use Student Information Management to view, print, or download class lists to Excel, contact students individually or as a class, and enter grades. Additionally, you can view the course catalog and your teaching schedule. Advisors have the ability to access a variety of student records, e-mail advisees, save an advisee list in Excel format, register students, and authorize courses. And, if you're teaching an OPTIONS course, SIM is where you would post OPTIONS attendance records.

These various subject areas are broken down on this site into the following sections:

  • Getting Started

  • Student Advising

  • Class Lists

  • Grade Entry

  • Options Attendance

  • What Else Can I Do In SIM?

Each section includes video and an Adobe pdf file related to that particular subject. You can print out the individual pdf files as you go through the sections, or if you prefer, you can access the complete package under Electronic Manual. In addition to printing the document, you can also save the full manual to your computer as a searchable Adobe file.
